The ten second burst of noise heard at the beginning of the track provides all the source material used for the rest of the composition. In this piece I wanted to explore the ideas of music vs noise as determined by personal preference, what one may consider noise may present a pleasurable listening experience to another. I was also attracted to the idea of white noise as being a container of all other sounds. Thus in this piece noise, as it is technically defined, is transformed first into familiar sounds and then into something else, art possibly.
